💧 Faucet Advanced Filtration with Culligan FM 15A: Enhanced Water Purification Solution Review

I can't believe I'm giving a household name like Culligan 1 star but I have to! I have tested filtered water multiple times with a TDS tester which showed a range of 139ppm! Considering tap water in Cleveland reads around 143ppm that's not exactly an improvement, I have other filters that give me clear water readings below 90 which I use with confidence! To my surprise, this product passed the counterfeit test with an A rating, I don't know how! I sent it back, I wouldn't recommend it!

I also assumed that this filter would reduce the PPM in my tap water. I like the taste of purified bottled water below 20ppm and unfortunately I have tap water around 140ppm. After running the filter for about 10 minutes it tested just a few ppm less than what was leaking out of my faucet. I understand that testers can't account for healthy minerals, but I still like to try different waters to find the "flavor" and calm I prefer. I can't fault the filter unless it's designed to reduce PPM…

The product is easy to apply. It was easy to remove. What he didn't do was work for over an hour. I followed the installation instructions. I run water through the filter for 10 minutes. I filled a 2 gallon pitcher with water to keep in the fridge. Still worked great! I washed dishes with a regular blender. I had to fill the ice tray after washing dishes. This is the third Culligan faucet filter we have bought. Each of the previous faucet filters broke at the high end of the water pressure near the end of the 2 year warranty period. [UPDATE 11/27/2017] After 4 years this item still works great. I change the filter every two months and everything works. There is only 1 small problem. The pin you pull to switch from the faucet to the filter no longer goes back after you turn off the water. I have to put the pen back in. Otherwise no problems or cracks.
