These grips are pretty cool. Some people have said they don't have a strong cushioning effect, but I thought that was a little misleading. Some grips have no padding at all. They have a good amount to give your hands a little relief but also feel very firm. I'm happy with them and will probably buy them for my other BMX bike.

Not for everyone. They are very soft. I think I was expecting something more like an actual Vans shoe sole? I took them off my singlespeed after a ride, too soft. I have seen other reviews mention that they wear out very quickly and I can definitely see that this type of compound is the case. After all, they are novelty at best.

Great BMX grips. I love ODIs and use their mounts in my trials and MTB. The lock doesn't work for BMX because they are too short and the metal flange is cumbersome; So I decided to give them a chance. I've been using them for about a week and I really like them, just wish they were a little softer and a little longer. But they feel good and look great. Comfortable and durable. Easy installation with "Zipper" method. Took 5 minutes and they stay in place. Highly recommended.

Quality grips but plan on putting them on for a headache. Initially we used rubbing alcohol to help with fitting but after a few days the grips began to slip in a few spots - then it was a HUGE PIA to remove the end caps to try again. Leave the end caps removed until you are sure the handles are secure! The handles still slipped after I used denatured alcohol (painter's item) to attach them, so we'll try hairspray next time. I love my new Super Grips! The waffle pattern is unique and the 'Vans' and 'Cult' embossing is subtle yet stylish in a subtle way. The color of the rubber on my black bike completely changed the look! Installation was very easy using the screed method (YouTube). I bought these to replace the foam grips on my Razor A5 Scooter. The length and size were perfect and installation was easy. I used a skewer to make some room, sprayed some vodka (no rubbing alcohol), twisted the old handle and it just came off. I poured more vodka into the new handles and put them on, then waited for them to dry. The installation took a maximum of 10 minutes.
