Good cheap alternative

First the bad. It's been about 2 weeks, setting timers is annoying so I don't use it. Time flies in 24 hours, not 12 hours. and I personally find that the focus range of LEDs is a bit narrow. My tank is a 75g mixed reef with just SPS and Zoas. If you have a reef aquarium you will definitely need at least 2 units, so save some money and buy a double set instead of two singles. The preset functions are interesting but useless unless you're having a party or want to use the thunderstorm function…

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Not bad

What I have read about these lights has shown me that they are compatible with sea corals for healthy lighting. I love the programmable intensity, timer, and whimsical weather lighting simulations, which seem to annoy my saltwater fish, but they loved the other options that made their colors so vibrant. not as effective on coral and began to show a slow decline. In a saltwater aquarium, poor lighting can encourage algae growth. In this case, these two devices were not bright enough to support…

Good quality, strong bright clear light, fast delivery

We are very happy with the Orbit Marine Pro. We have 110l. large sea aquarium, only seahorses, no corals. Our lighting was T 5 - 2 daylight and 2 actinic, with a total output of 220 watts. The biggest problem was if we replaced the 220w led system with a 67w led system would it be bright enough. That. The light is strong and clear. The block allows you to select a pre-programmed lighting schedule or manually adjust the spectrum from 0 to 100%. We found that we didn't have to run blues or…

2 bad blocks in a row. How are the chances?

Updated Review of Orbit Marine Pro. So I had serious issues with the overall light output of this flashlight. I felt it lacked the ability to create PAR levels as Current advertises. So I refrained from sending it back thinking I would at least give the coral a chance to fully acclimate and see what kind of reaction I get. The first thing I noticed was that most of my corals weren't expanding at all. This is after a week of working in acclimation mode, constantly adjusting the overall intensity

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
