AUTO-LOCKING. This SecureLatch pintle hook and ball automatically couples to a lunette ring, featuring an auto-lock. Just back up and strike the back plate. Drop the lunette ring, and the primary latch auto engages. Just insert the secondary safety pin. REDUCED CHUCKING. This pintle hook hitch is quieter and smoother than other pintle hooks, featuring a unique cupped design. It holds the ring tighter fore and aft to reduce play and chucking noise. SUPERIOR STRENGTH. The SecureLatch ball and pintle hitch is constructed from cast iron and is austempered for superior strength and wear resistance. It is rated for 14,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 14,000 pounds ball capacity. DURABLE FINISH. For corrosion resistance, this pintle ball hitch has a battleship grey finish. STANDARD FIT. This pintle hook and ball will couple to any lunette ring with a 2-1/2-inch or 3-inch inside diameter or a standard 2-5/16-inch coupler. It installs into any industry-standard 2-inch receiver.

Secure Your Towing with Ease

I recently purchased this combination for my towing needs and it has exceeded my expectations .Through trial and error, I found that this product is easy to install, secure, and versatile enough to work with different hitch sizes. The weight distribution feature is A bonus. However, the price point is a bit steep compared to similar products in the market. Overall, this is a great investment for safety and convenience in towing..

Disappointing Receiver Mount Combo

According to my experience this product turned out to be a huge letdown. Not only was it difficult to install, but it failed to secure my trailer on multiple occasions. The only positive is its appearance, but that doesnt compensate for its lack of functionality..

Good hitch - But! â Exterior accessories

I'm very happy with the tow bar. It is very well made except that it arrived without a VERY IMPORTANT security feature. It came without a locking pin and safety chain! Okay, I understand mistakes are made, but 5 days after I messaged Kurt about the missing part on Kurt's website, I haven't heard ANYTHING! Good hitch, customer service not so much!
