Works perfectly with 2018 Nissan Frontier LE - Read Note

Installation takes approximately 2.5 hours, most of which is spent on the black 12v power cable that runs from the rear chassis runs to the battery at the bottom. Note: Connecting the white 12v to the chassis didn't work. I had to connect the white wire to the taillight negative wire (black in my case). Now it works fine.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Works as advertised (2011 Audi Q7)

Easy to assemble with a little technical know-how. Make sure you plan ahead and decide where to mount the module before you start (for easy access to the harness and shelter). The wires are very thin so you can buy butt splice connectors to avoid potential problems in the future. We have used it several times with no problems with car wiring.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works for me in the wiring

I used this on my 2008 Navion IQ where Winnebago installed a 7 pin European trailer plug. Previously I tried using the 3-2 connector with no power from U-Haul but it didn't work. I also bought a connector to connect to the 7 pin connector. Took power from house batteries, plugged it in and it works great with both LED and incandescent trailer lights, with a standard 4 pin plug.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Null

This is the right chassis for the Mercedes Benz Sprinter.

This is the correct wire harness for Mercedes Benz Sprinter 144 Passenger 2016, normal 3 way connection will work for this module, all that remains is to figure out which wire is which on the side of the Sprinter and connect. If your van is equipped with a socket in the back on each side you can even save time by plugging in this power supply, it even has a 15 amp fuse but make sure you don't use this socket when towing.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Repair

Running light problem - Curt Tech Support

I gave this 3 stars because of Curt's tech support. Yes, I called a live person each time, but they didn't have the creativity or patience to help me with my problem. I had to figure out the problem myself. The instructions describe 4 possible connection scenarios. My car wasn't one of them. bottom line. The factory LED lights on my VW Passat did not provide enough power to turn on the parking lights. The headlights worked when the car was off (2.6 volts) but when I start the car the voltage…

Throw away the butt connectors - they're junk!

Great product, installation was pretty easy. YouTube will give you great information. If you are using this product in a minivan (like I am a VW Eurovan) and you are not in direct contact with the battery (which is unlikely) the black power cable is too short so be prepared to improvise. If you can, solder the wires to the connectors or buy better connectors. Also, use solder and heat shrink tubing to connect the fuse wire to the black battery wire and cover the soldered wires with heat shrink…

Curt 59236 for wiring

I installed this on a 2018 Ford EcoSport. The reason I chose this item is because when I watched U-Haul install the hitch and lights, U-Haul wanted to use this item for the trailer lights. I installed the module behind the rear light on the driver's side. The wire to the right tail light for the turn signal was not long enough and I had to add what I used with 14 gauge stranded wire and a waterproof butt connector. The supplied connectors were too big for wiring in the car, so after I put…
