I like these Ross curtains as a budget alternative, but one of the two rods had a broken "spring button" that came loose. I tried to contact the seller to replace it but the seller didn't reply. The stems are thin. I kept the rods as these three bedroom window curtains are essential in my densely populated urban area. These bars do the trick, but I try not to strain them for fear of falling. I think you will find better alternatives for almost the same low price. I cannot recommend these poles.

My husband had trouble installing the curtain rods and we almost returned them. We thought they gave us the wrong parts. Wall brackets must match the ends of the cornice before screwing to the wall! There are 2 smaller wall brackets and 2 larger wall brackets that fit the ends of the curtain rod. Don't repeat our mistake! We didn't need the chic curtain rods from Schmanti because they hold small blackout curtains. They're hidden, so looks don't matter, they're weak, flimsy, and just plain unnecessary. There is a plastic sleeve that centers the smaller bar inside the larger bar. It is VERY loose leaving the bars sloppy and sagging after installation.
