I think I bought the wrong item because I had another premixed mosaic grout and it was smooth. It's the feeling of sand/sand. I must have ordered the wrong kind. I was just trying to order something else close to what I thought was a good glue but alas. it was for the floor. Laugh out loud I should really start reading all the descriptions!

My kitchen tile has started to have small holes in the grout in some places. I used zep grout (another product I highly recommend) to clean the grout, let it dry and patch the holes with the grout. It fits right in with my freshly washed clean solution. It was a bit gritty but just what I expected. It filled the holes and dried well. No complaints - perfect for my joint work!

I like that it's pre-mixed. The packaging wasn't very good. The container was dented and had a cut on the side. The lid fell off too. But since the delivery was quite fast, it didn't seem too dry in the joints. I was able to pour the contents into a ziplock plastic container. The product itself seems to work well. The time will show. Update: 3/2019 - The joint compound holds up very well in a high traffic area of my kitchen.

Originally purchased from a large store for use with grout vinyl tile. I had to replace two when red nail polish spilled on them and I couldn't find the same grout color where I bought it. That's a great thing. It has a different texture than ceramic tile grout, but is easy to work with and clean. It sets well enough that I had to use a dremel to cut through the grout lines to remove the tiles.

Worked very well! Cures quickly and looks great. Haystack is very similar to a medium almond color and is perfect for my needs. I've used it to fill in areas where my grout had peeled and I no longer have those open pockets between my kitchen tiles. I also smeared lightly over some stained grout near my oven (poor holiday kitchen) and it looks brand new! I plan on doing the same thing on the entire kitchen floor, cleaning it and then repasting it. Worth every penny!

This is a mortar. works (poorly). Pretty easy to use since you don't have to mix it yourself, but there's one big problem. That does not work. First I did the floor in the shower and dried it for 3 days. then patched some lower walls near the bottom and same thing. Well, it's coming out in less than a month. See pictures. I have ordered 381 Bright White and it is much darker than the same code/product I bought from stock. I ran out of true "bright white" and had to use a batch I ordered from Revain - ruined all the tile work. I assumed the slightly wrong color was due to it being new/wet but no, after trying it it was a total mismatch. The photos show a brand new tub purchased in HD versus an AWS product - a very noticeable difference. Either the label is wrong or the batch is of poor quality…

I'm angry! We don't have a renovation budget so replacing the grout where the grout is missing seems a reasonable solution. It took 3 days to prep the room - removing the loose grout, cleaning with bleach (risk of asthma) and removing the sealer. I was totally cold yesterday. I was surprised to see the shade of grey, but since it needed drying I figured it would be fine. NOT CORRECT! Misspelled! I can't lose another 3 days.
