I do my manicure at home because I'm a perfectionist and nail designers can't do a better job than me, but this cutter is not recommended , especially for beginners. This is the weirdest cutter I've ever used, it cuts through the cuticle but doesn't cut it so I rip it off to remove the cuticle. It's beautiful and still can be used to remove hanging nails or trim nails. (I bought multicolored)

These pliers are no good. They do their job but the blades near the tip aren't sharp enough, something has shifted so they don't fully cut through the cuticle to remove it. I've tried pressing harder to get the blades to fit better, but that doesn't help. They end up just poking the skin and you have to pull to remove them (oops!). They look good up close, but they just don't work in practice. They also feel a little flimsy compared to a pair of my very hard steel Revlon wire cutters…

They said they were STRONG and made of stainless steel. And they had ANTI RUSTI for maybe 2 weeks. AND IT'S EVEN RUSTED AND THE TIPS ARE BENT. I DID NOT DROPP THEM MY OTHER TOOLS I actually left them at the EPA overnight and they NEVER RUSTED these pliers which I did NOT leave at the EPA overnight. They sit in the sanitizer for 10 minutes and then rinse and put in the sterilizer THEY SHOULD NOT ALREADY RUST
