Intermittent power button

Bought 2 sets Both power buttons sometimes need to hit the speaker on the table to turn it on, and if left on when the computer is off, there will be feedback noise

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Doubt

Bad Speakers: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I have used Cyber Acoustics products in the past and have been very satisfied. I wasn't expecting great sound quality for the price of these speakers. Just some nice little speakers that I could also plug my headset into. As other users have written, there is a terrible hum in the speakers when you turn it on. I am extremely disappointed. I know the old adage "you get what you pay for" but I've never had a problem with this provider and since I was looking for an easy application I felt I could

Pros
  • Speakerphone
Cons
  • Blank

DO NOT BUY THESE! the best in computers and accessories

These are the biggest/smallest pieces of junk I have ever seen/heard. Turn them on and the crackling goes through them like a baby monitor, continuing erratically. If the sound doesn't drop then the sound quality is so bad it reminds me of those 69 cent transistor radios that ran on a 9 volt battery. It is not expensive. i give them back

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Very expensive

Decent speakers! - Computers and Accessories

We use these speakers to project sound into a small 30 x 30 conference room. Not for high quality music but clear enough for general use with tutorial videos etc. I like that they are cable powered into a standard USB port rather than a wall outlet. This works well with laptops and mobile presentations.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Protection

About average sound! The only thing I don't like is that sometimes you can hear the sound of a helicopter in the background. This is because your speakers are placed close together. The farther apart the speakers are. The less you hear this helicopter like background noise! You don't hear it when you play music!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Almost never

Annoying hum

Bought these because I needed a pair of speakers regardless of the sound quality. In that regard, they work well. Play a video on Youtube and I can easily understand the spoken words. However, when I didn't play the audio, there was a buzzing noise. I've found that plugging the USB into a wall charger reduces this significantly, but it's still annoying, especially since I often have to use my headphones with it, which makes the problem worse. I would advise avoiding anything that uses USB for…

Pros
  • Headphone out
Cons
  • Fairly good

Don't waste your money

If your only requirement is "sound enhancement" with a simple, clean look, then these speakers tick both of these boxes. However, if you expect your speakers to actually reproduce the intended sound as intended when the volume is cranked up true to the original, look elsewhere. These speakers, while cheap, are nothing more than active Geiger counters that hiss, pop, and crackle like I'm a current employee at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. These speakers anticipate and alert every incoming…

Pros
  • Total power output 3W (1.5W x 2)
Cons
  • Hard to say

Setup is easy: plug the green connector into your computer, plug the USB connector into the appropriate port and voila, the speakers work. Or are you? Well, apart from a bit of a loud and continuous hum, they work as expected. When I played the movie I could hear the audio - subtle but nonetheless. But the volume is bad. Even with the volume control on the speakers turned all the way down, I had to crank the volume up to about 70% on my computer for this movie. And of course, the volume of the…

Pros
  • Magnetic shielding
Cons
  • All right
