You get what you pay for.

you get what you paid for. Red is NOT rubber. It's all plastic. The whole thing is shaky. The hooks were already bent due to poor metal quality. Spend $48 on the Real Crossbar, which is made of high quality metal and won't drop your $$$$ bikes!

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • ill thought out

Works with mods

Bought because it was the shortest I could find - it barely fits my 14 inch son. Pin clips made me nervous about them loosening with vibration/shock so I wire them up every time I use them to make sure they stay clamped. Would have preferred a hook mount at the end of the seat like some of the other models, which makes assembly a lot easier.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Update available

Not very reliable

I ordered three bike handlebars and used them on our last ride. The two connectors came loose and the bike would have fallen if I hadn't double strapped all the bikes to the top of the trunk. I'm not ready to blame the handlebars as we had a very bumpy ride and were carrying four bikes that caused a lot of impact, but I was still disappointed.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Speed

Works well: Sport

Works overall as advertised. However, there were some difficulties with my wife's bike. She is very low and her seat is as low as possible. As a result, there is little space to place the device around the seat post. Because the device is so slim, I can just put it on. Other wider range products definitely don't work, so that's a positive.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Minor issues

A bit difficult to climb over the front tube

The bike is an old Schwinn World Tour. Two switches are mounted on the stem, the cables of which fall out at the bottom. I don't want to pinch the cords so I thread this item under and around it. Once in place it's quite difficult to close because you can't get a good grip on it and there is NO excess space. If the "ring" was another half inch or an inch longer, there would be fewer problems. The end that goes to the seatpost is easy. Seems well done. The finish is pleasant. Must last.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
