No more derailment. for sports

3-ring front fur replaced with a single one. It derails further when shifting into high gear. It was an inexpensive and easy solution. got a job

Pros
  • A bunch of positive emotions
Cons
  • Protection

Not last year for parts and components

I mainly worked at first, but here after a few months I can't hold it anymore. The chain guard moves freely and does not perform its function at all.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Perfect for a budget 1x build

This little chain guard is the best $25 I've invested in my budget 1x gravel build. I bought a 90's MTB, removed two stars and experienced a chain drop on registration. Got this guy out and no more problems. Stepless adjustment. 10/10

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Have doubts

Poorly designed wastepaper basket

There is a set screw where the shaft joins part of the frame (top right of photo). That little set screw is all that keeps this device from spinning on every impact. Did I mention he moves every time he gets hit? This is a poorly designed structure that should never have been tested. Which they probably didn't.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Appearance

The set screw was missing and the set screw had to be re-threaded.

I didn't have a set screw. I had to replace it with my own. I also had to tap on the set screw hole because the threads weren't deep enough for the set screw to touch the lever. So I was missing parts and had to be modified. I had a full set of taps and screws to choose from at my shop so I was able to get this done in about 20 minutes. So mine didn't arrive as pictured and not working.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Frequency

Works as expected when cycling

I bought this to help me convert 3x10 to 1x10. I didn't buy a clutch rear derailleur, so I was afraid of chain jumps. Adjusting the rail took some time as not all adjustments could be made while cycling. After that it stays where it should be and works as it should. I haven't had any problems with the chain during my rides. I have no idea if it would be without him, but it's a good idea not to think about it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some issues
