Mini SD card slot for demonstration purposes

The only reason is that there is a Mini SD card had slot so I could record videos on the card instead of storing my family's videos in the "cloud". The description states that the mini SD card allows storing videos. IT IS NOT TRUE. It's a waste of time and money when you spend money on a mini SD card and stick it in the slot, it does nothing but fill the space and let you format it. It never writes and there is no option to create a backup. The app isn't even set up to "backup" your videos, as…

No software support and SD card not working

This is my 7th DLINK camera and this is the worst setup experience ever. I tried setting up WiFi with a QR code, but it just timed out. I managed to use an ethernet cable to connect to the camera and set it up that way. Had to download the mydlink app for iPhone which is terrible on iPad but iPhone is too small to use the camera properly. You would think that they would have a dedicated iPad app for watching videos. D-Link is prohibited from selling cameras that are not already supported by its software (FIXED)

. Update: Shortly after I posted my review, D-Link contacted me directly and put me through a real person. Which I think is rare these days. That was pretty cool. D-Link has gone to great lengths to resolve the issues I've seen so I can use the cameras and others don't have the same issues.
