Disappointing performance from refurbished router

After I put it to the test I was underwhelmed by the speed and range of this router .While it was easy to set up, it frequently dropped connection and struggled to handle multiple devices. The only pro was the affordable price, but the cons outweigh that benefit. I would not recommend this router for anyone looking for reliable and efficient networking performance..

Pros
  • Great value for money.
Cons
  • Poor signal strength compared to newer models on the market.

helps with double nat 2 xbox 360 same network

Well it's easy to set up from the CD. The signal is good in the 2.5 GHz band. This helps to solve the double nat problem on XBOX 360. It does NOT have a good 5GHz signal as many have said. Updated to the beta version of the latest firmware 2.0.3 helps a little. Especially with a drop in signal at 5 GHz. However, this will NOT help with a poor signal. Mine doesn't need to be rebooted as some say to get or keep a signal, I have a good 2.5GHz signal (even though I live in a one story brick house).
