Useless product for computers and accessories

Expensive for its capabilities. After a month of using it here and there, fallout has finally become a habit, about every hour or so the connection completely resets from 150Mbps to 1Mbps. Just in case I have another modem and wireless router and I plugged it in for a week and never had a single outage. This device has one of the worst interfaces and looks like a no-brainer. Gigabyte Ethernet is not working properly, it has so many DNS problems that it keeps throwing errors and never connects…

Mesh does not work well for networking products

I already had a Dlink DIRX1870 but the signal didn't reach very far which was strange considering it has to cover 3000ft and I have a 2000ft ranch have. So I decided to add a grid point and took the DIR LX1870. Set up as an extension cord according to the instructions. Well, it doesn't expand anything. I checked the speed twice with the extender off, using the same points each time, and there was no difference with the extender on. I wouldn't spend your money on that.

Covers 3000 sqm. ft. Suitable for computers and accessories

A router is an essential part of your home Internet network. The right choice can significantly affect the quality of your connection. Mesh Wi-Fi systems are great for covering the entire house. One of these units can be up to 3,000 square feet. If you have a large house or multiple levels, you can use more than one for perfect coverage. I've used D-Link routers in the past and haven't had any major problems. Customer service is great if you need to contact them. I highly recommend this router.

Many issues best in networking products

Updated (5/16/2021) I have used this router extensively and have decided to give it up completely. One of the main issues I encountered is the wired connection. For some reason the wired connection has stopped working and I'm getting a "DNS" error. I'm wondering if switching to WIFI will fix the problem. I restarted my computer and modem a couple of times and the problem only went away after I restarted the router. So I'm pretty sure the problem is with the router. I have switched to several…

D-Link is Quality: Computers and Accessories

I upgraded from a D-Link DIR-860L I've had since 2015. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this model and it was extremely stable. The only time I had to reset my settings was when I forgot my admin password. I wanted this for WPA3 security and to reduce the buffering issues I was having with my 1st gen Chromecast, which I also upgraded to a 3rd gen model. In addition to the speed for all my streams, the price was great - less than $90 including taxes. I would like to use electricity from…

Good as an extender/access point

Good range; Penetrates through walls and floors in a 1500 mΒ² room. ft. Bought to replace an outdated router but doesn't work properly; kept losing connection and couldn't configure the static settings required for my network. The admin is terrible; made for kindergarten and can't do much with it. Changed it to a hotspot and it works fine. Need a good replacement router.
