I'm not sure why some people are having trouble with this kit. This is the third set of D-Link laptop routers and boards I've installed and haven't had any issues with. They install great and don't have intermittent connection or reboot issues. No incompatibility issues or driver issues. I made sure to follow the instructions to install the drivers BEFORE installing the hardware (VERY important for Windows XP). Wow. What can I say other than this is one of the worst e-purchases I have ever made. The DWL-G650 is a pretty good PCCard, but the DI-624 router is terrible! From the moment I plugged it in, it wouldn't stop restarting every 1-2 minutes, throwing me off the network. Firmware did not solve the problem at all, neither did replacing the product.
