These are the first real shoes I got for my son when he started walking when he was about 1 year old. They were light and pretty durable! He's gotten them dirty, wet and dirty and they're still in pretty good shape after a good cleaning. They are SUPER easy to put on and take off and I think that's my favorite aspect of this shoe. Every parent knows how hard it is to get a naughty toddler to put on a pair of shoes!

I bought a size 5.5 in Hot Pink for my 1.5 year old daughter. They fit her perfectly and she plays with the velcro but doesn't take them off.
