As an American, I don't like buying Chinese brands if I can help it. But the simple fact is that many Chinese brands are now making QUALITY products that rival or even surpass similar American brands, and yet they're still cheaper. These shoes fall into this category. They are very well made, look good, fit great and my 4 year old son loves them. They are very flexible and seem very comfortable. In my opinion they are easily compared to Keen, Oshkosh and Merrell sandals which are more expensive

My 3 year old doesn't want to have to put his shoes on and off. You are perfect. He can do it himself and is light enough to be fast. Although I don't condone it, he can even take them off without undoing the velcro. He's been wearing them non-stop since we got them a month ago and so far they're holding up well.
