Excellent quality spare parts

I was skeptical about the $8 suction pump. It is of great quality and works perfectly. I checked all the valves inside with a flashlight. All valves looked good and worked well. Time will tell if this holds up but for now the suction pump fits my mk1 audi tt perfectly.

Item does not work on parts

The part I received failed the basic test of blowing air off the downstream side of the valve when closing the small primary air reservoir without allowing air through the check valve. Put simply, it failed. This means that when your car uses it to draw air from the brake booster, the boost pressure escapes into the brake booster. Don't risk it, just buy OEM.

Engine Audi B5 2.8.

This is the right part. This prevents your car from starting in extreme situations. If it's clogged, you should probably replace the entire PCV hose system. also check your vacuum lines. You can test your old one by blowing it out. The double end goes in and the single end goes out, and it's a one-way valve, it shouldn't go back the other way. If you can't blow through any of the dual-ended nozzles, then that's bad. Also, it's bad if you can blow through the only ending.

Works on BMW E46 exhaust and emissions

Needed this part for a BMW E46 after discovering the original I had was broken. I even tried to fix it with epoxy, looked promising but something broke during installation. Couldn't find one for BMW at a reasonable price so I decided to buy this one. I'm glad I did! But it should be for VW/Audi. It is exactly the same shape and size as the original BMW. I figured yes, and if it were a little smaller that would be fine too since it's just a venturi. If you need one for BMW, welcome to buy it…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Useless features
