Simple and Useful

Over the years I've made quite a few upgrades to my Late 2011 15" MacBook Pro, including RAM upgrades, replacing the hard drive with an SSD, and installing a new battery This is by far the easiest upgrade and one that comes in very handy. If the original rubber feet fall off, it leaves an open hole in the bottom of the case for dirt and dust to get in. This can have serious consequences depending on how you use it use your computer and when you might open it up for cleaning. These rubber feet…

This is a complete kit - one two

This kit contains a complete set of screws for the case and legs for the bottom, enough to replace parts on two MacBooks. The feet are rubber and stickier than the old plastic feet. It's not a problem for me, but you should know. The included screwdriver fits the screws perfectly and removes hard-to-remove case screws without slipping. While the screws don't have the pre-applied threadlock of the originals, not a single screw has come loose in the months it's been reassembled. Fast, free…

Good, but. - Computer Components

The addition of rubber feet was a nice touch. I didn't think I needed them, but upon closer inspection I'm glad I got them. I used both sets of screws when my son and I refurbished our old MacBook Pros. There were 10 screws in his kit; I had 9. Eh, I was able to reuse one of the best ones I deleted. Over the years we've taken it apart for RAM, batteries, HD>SSD etc so the originals were filmed pretty well. The included screwdriver held up well and when we were done, it went into the tool…

Everything is fine except for the screwdriver

I really only needed the legs, but two of my old screws got lost in the carpet during assembly. Needless to say, I'm glad this product offers exactly what you need and more. However, I only have to complain briefly about the screwdriver. It's not based on precision, so it takes quite a while to actually fit the head of the screws. I ended up using an old one I ordered a while back which was much more efficient for the job. I think what they provide is more versatile than anything else, which…

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Only available in white

The MacBook Pro Mid 2012 has 3 types of screws that hold the bottom panel in place. 3 long screws, 3 short regular screws and 4 thumbscrews to attach the front row holding the plate. I DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT SCREWS. I got 2 sets. both are different and both are wrong. The rubber feet seem fine. As long as you remove the old ones and remove ALL residue from the old legs you should be fine. A good tip is to use a regular hair dryer to warm up your new legs after getting dressed. This ensures that…

WOW! $6 well spent on computer components

This is a great kit to give your Macbook Pro a little refreshment. AND IT'S ONLY SIX DOLLARS. I thought they were cheap parts but I'm very satisfied. This week my girlfriend and I received a Macbook Pro with missing or worn rubber feet. I was also missing two of the bottom screws, so now we both have new bottom cover screws and new rubber feet. Yes, you read it right; for $6 we both have brand new screws and rubber feet. I will say that the legs are not very easy to install (which does not…
