These are excellent quality mounts that allow you to mount a dome or PTZ camera remotely from the surface mount. It's made of metal, not plastic, which is an added bonus. Very easy and clean installation.

I had to drill holes for the Amcrest camera but once installed it looks lovely and is well worth it. The mount easily integrates with the outdoor camera and even adjusts the color. It looks very nice and makes the installation look professional.

Pre-drilled for Ampiz Dome Camera. The mounting bracket detaches from the housing, allowing you to mount the camera on a building without camera jerking. You can then easily attach the camera/cover to the mount. The body was cast from metal and had a solid construction. Since I installed the cameras on the side of the building where there is no roof overhang, I hope this housing will protect the camera from the elements.

I am impressed with the quality/reliability of this product. It's all metal. The pre-drilled/threaded holes fit my Hikvision DS-2CD2123G0-I dome camera. The plate on the back is a mounting bracket that needs to be attached to the wall first. You then hook the actual camera mount and a small set screw on the bottom of the unit [my thumb is locking it in the attached images] holds the camera mount to the wall mount. I ordered 2 of these for my domes and they fit perfectly. The ones I have only have a cable hole in the back, which is great for my type of setup. If you want the cables to come out the sides you will need to drill a hole on the side you want, which I will do on another install if I can't install it on the backbox. I installed my camera about 7ft tall indoors and a Yi dome camera used. The mount wasn't designed for this particular camera, but I found it to be very versatile and almost perfect for what I wanted to do. I could flush mount it, but it would be a more "permanent" mount, I wanted to be able to use the "turn and release" cap that came with the camera. Bought one of these for the new Amcrest dome camera. The Amcrest version is about 70% more expensive. I don't have an Amcrest mount to compare but it is very well made, well painted, holes are clean etc of what appear to be pretty good mounting screws for the mount and camera. My camera installed easily (there are several sets of mounting holes to choose from, supposedly for different camera models).
