I ordered 2 of these for my domes and they fit perfectly. The ones I have only have a cable hole in the back, which is great for my type of setup. If you want the cables to come out the sides you will need to drill a hole on the side you want, which I will do on another install if I can't install it on the backbox. There is a plate on the back that you drill into the wall, then the bracket is attached to that plate and adjusted with a wrench. In general I am very happy with it and the rain drips off the sides and does not drip on the dome of the lens.
