Didn't like anything about it so had to cut and weld. Another downside is that it's aluminum and not stacked like head tubes, so it's not easy to weld.

25.4 diameter is larger than approx. 25.8mm. This is a critical size and should not be exceeded. I had to sand it down a bit because it fit too well. But it was the cheapest adapter I could find.

I ordered a 22.2mm for a restomod road bike, changed the threads to threadless and the end result was fine. The main issue was that the bottom of the adapter wasn't actually 22.2mm. , so I have to sand it down to make it fit. Because of this, I think it's better to look for other options.

Ordered 25.4mm but must have gotten a bad batch as it didn't fit my MTB. I considered returning it and getting a replacement or buying a different brand, but neither option suited my schedule. I ended up having to sand the damn thing to make it fit. I spent almost an hour installing something that shouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes.

Does the job as intended. I ordered a 22.2mm threaded to threadless BMX conversion and the results were satisfactory. One thing I did was cut off the top 1 1/8th side of the pipe so I didn't have to use some spacers. I switched from 40mm to 10mm. The problem was that the sliding part was the wrong diameter. They sent 25.4 instead of 22.2. Since this isn't my first rodeo, I just adapted it to my application.
