🧤 Dakine Storm Liner Gloves Shadow: Perfect Protection for All Weather Conditions Review

So I've been through a decent amount of gloves at Revain. I've tried some unnamed cheaper but somehow highly rated brands. and they were all terrible. However, this bad experience led me to these gloves. This is exactly what I was looking for: comfortable and warm, and not falling apart in a week. Lesson learned: choose a brand you trust. You get what you pay for

Premium materials and construction. Soft and stretchy but not loose. The cuff of the glove fits around my wrists and a little more. unlike other gloves which, while fitting my fingers and palm, are "too short". This is the second pair I've bought. The first was for my 80 year old father and they were easy for him to put on and take off. And I can easily use my phone or tablet while wearing these gloves.

touch screen. I hope my fingertips don't get cold as there doesn't seem to be any insulation on the tips of the index finger or thumb to allow for this feature. Seems to be of good quality and a bit long on the fingers as others have said. I usually wear XL gloves because of the long fingers (sometimes XXL) and I think the larger ones would be better/tighter for me as they stretch, but I'll leave the XL.

I'm a woman with small hands, but I don't like the design of women's gloves. I'm the smallest size and they fit a little loose, but they're designed for men's hands, not small women. The touchscreen clips onto the index finger, works best near the seam, but my thumb rarely works. They are good for windless cold days when playing Pokemon Go. When it's very windy and cold outside, you either need gloves or hot hands.

If I was outside for a long time, I definitely wore thicker gloves over it. but for about an hour outside they kept me perfectly warm. The big downside is that they form CLUB and little fluffy balls almost immediately. Without that it would be 5 stars for me.

I was looking for lightweight gloves with good touchscreen sensitivity so I can quickly take photos of my kids when they are outside in winter and when I fly my drone in the cold. These gloves are great. They work really well with my iPhone and Apple Watch and are warm enough to 30 on their own, especially if you're a little active. I use them way below but sometimes I need to warm them up in my pockets. I have tried many other gloves, these work best and are the warmest.

Excellent lining. I originally received these earbuds as part of a Dakine Scout combo. The liners were so good I used them as everyday gloves. Of course, this means that the balaclava wears out much quicker than the outer waterproof shell. That's why I bought this spare pair. With almost daily use they lasted 2-3 years. I think these are great considering the price and their compatibility with an external ski glove. I will keep buying! The fingerprint touchscreen works well too!
