DAMAGE-FREE SETUP & REMOVAL: Installs in less than 2 minutes using damage-free 3M Command Adhesive Strips (included) that are rated to hold up to 5lbs (2.25 kg) each; no screws or holes required; intended for use on smooth, flat surfaces (Screw-in versions sold separately; Koala Mount Screw-in, Koala Mount 2.0 & Koala Mount 2XL). UNIVERSAL: The brackets will fit any device 11mm thick or less. Can be used with protective cases left on if total thickness is under 11mm. Uses 2 separate brackets that you can set at whatever distance required for your device, allowing for wide compatibility. This includes most iPhone models, Samsung phones, and many more. NOTE ON COMPATIBILITY: While it does fit most popular phones (anything under 11mm thick), the bracket supports can block ports/buttons on either side between 1.5 - 3.75 inches up from the bottom (some may have blocked ports if mounting in landscape mode - see our Koala Mount 2.0 or Koala Mount 2XL if this may be an issue). SIMPLE: Super easy docking and undocking, can be set up in portrait or landscape mode. No extra accessories required; no special cases or attachments onto your tablet. Built-in cord clips under each bracket to help keep track of your cord. MOUNTING: These come with Regular 3M Command strips that are not designed to work in areas exposed to high heats or moisture (like the bathroom). 3M makes special water and heat resistant strips for this. Also, all Command Strips don't tend to work well on textured surfaces and some wallpapers. We strongly recommend performing our Strength Test. Command Strips are not reusable once they've been removed.

I want it to tilt a little.

I bought this because I used to hold my phone in my hand while cooking. When cooking, I often use my own recipes and recipes from the internet, and I hated always looking for my phone because I put it somewhere else. It's great for that and was really easy to install - you need a spirit level for this, but I wish it would stick out of the wall and tilt a bit now that I've used it for a while. Other than that, it's great.

Pay attention to the thickness of your phone in the case

I originally bought the Koala Mount for my Galaxy S9+ and my wife's iPhone, regardless of the size. It's fine without a cell phone case, but a cell phone protective cover doesn't fit. Easy to fix. Send back the Koala mount and get the Koala 2.0 mount. It's a lot thicker and even has cool self-adhesive rubber tabs that can be inserted to take up some space if there are too many of them. A great solution for storing my phone without taking up space on my bedside table.

Be aware of the thickness of your phone in the case

I originally bought the Koala Mount for my Galaxy S9+ and my wife's iPhone, regardless of the size. Works without a lid. quite good, but the protective cover for the mobile phone did not fit. Easy to fix. Send back the Koala mount and get the Koala 2.0 mount. It's a lot thicker and even has cool sticky rubber tabs that you can tuck in to accommodate when there's too much room. Slim case is a must

I live on the 5th wheel full time and it's so cool I can hang my phone on the wall and switch and not lose my phone! Only thing is if you have a thick case it won't work. I have an ultra thin iPhone 12 Pro Max case and it's quite narrow. If that were fixed, then definitely 5 stars! That's a great idea and it's working really well so far!
