I use this to absorb excess moisture in small spaces like closets or shelves where moisture can damage items. I've had to change containers at least once a month since I've been in Hawaii.

Moisture removal works. I have been using this product since they had a home in Florida 20 years ago. It extracts excess moisture from the air and collects it. I can't find one that will work with the dehumidifier and keep my basement dry.

I fill them in every summer to keep moisture out of my conservatory where the concrete floors are stained. I put a container in each corner. The ceiling fan helps circulate the air while the DampRid collects moisture.

My roof has blown through and I am waiting for a restoration, the roof is leaking like crazy and I have serious moisture problems, this product works great, in my case I have to fill 6 of them twice per week up. Depending on where you live or the extent of the problem. I love this product.

I ordered a pair of these and one bag had a broken seal. Since it was the rainy season and the box was placed by my garage door, the Damp Rid soaked up the moisture and when I opened the box it was quite damp inside :(. It happened not once but twice. I live alone in a damp, dark place. One problem with this is that my papier-mâché figures and such get wet and wet. I reach for them in the dark and they are completely slippery.
