I have a wet basement. I used to have a dehumidifier but it broke. I almost bought another one and opted for a DampRid gas station. I already had reusable containers. The DampRid sits in the top basket and as it absorbs moisture it turns into a liquid and drains to the bottom of the bin. No more dragging liquid from the dryer up to the drain. Electricity is not used. So much more profitable and easier to use. They can be used anywhere.
