🛀 Danco 10004 Single Function Tub Trim Kit for Delta Shower Valve, Brushed Nickel - Fits 1300/1400, MultiChoice 13/14 600 Series Review

Some parts are metal with a nice brushed nickel finish (valve sleeve and lever handle) but large round faceplate, cheap plastic wall with a shiny chrome finish. Not what I wanted or expected. Equally annoying is that the supplied screw for attaching the metal lever adapter to the valve ball stem is just too short. There is no way to make it work. It took a trip to the hardware store for a longer stainless steel screw to get this thing working (to hold the individual pieces of the kit together).

Looks just as good as the Delta 600 he upgraded. Others have complained that the faceplate is plastic but the original was the same, I'm not sure why they expected anything different? My main complaint is actually that certain pads are not included. If you get this deep it might be a good idea to replace the acorn nut seal at the same time, but you'll have to reuse or buy many of the original parts separately.
