Does not go with my sink. Doesn't appear to be brass. The ball is 5/8" so it was too big. Also the overall length was 7 1/2" so it was too long. The quality is not better than others in the hardware store but definitely more expensive.

I needed a pop up with a ball of about 15.3mm (5/8 inch). The reviews on this site said the ball was 5/8 feet long - but with a caliper the ball is about 18.4mm wide or practically 3/4 inch wide [the angle in the picture is slightly different so it's different looks as 18.4mm ]

This replacement rod is advertised as "durable brass construction". It's actually cheap steel that rusts easily. (Just test it with a magnet.) The only reason I ordered this product, and I've ordered 4 of them, was to replace my badly corroded steel ball bars. These have gone from brand new to next to nothing rusted within 7 years. Rusty poles will also attract hair etc. Of course I sent the item back. In comparison, the old brass ball bars we had in our previous home looked almost new after…
