Ordered to fit an existing pattern of hex holes drilled in the tile. I have the ones in the picture, with a rectangular lace pattern. It's disappointing that the diagram on the box shows a pattern of hex holes. 3 stars for fast shipping and reasonable price, just not the product I wanted.

Totally my fault as I assumed all toilet flanges had the same rotation for the mounting screw slots. This plate rotates counter-clockwise and my PVC flange rotates clockwise to lock the screws so the screw holes don't line up. The plate cannot be flipped because the mounting tabs are misaligned. When I came back and looked at the photos, it was clear that I hadn't taken that into account. Don't repeat the same mistake.

This works for what is meant to reinforce an existing toilet bracket that may be defective. I installed it on a standard PVC toilet adapter which after replacing the bottoms was no longer strong enough to hold the toilet. My other choice was to cut the PVC drain from the basement and try resetting the adapter. This metal adapter fits over the expected grooves. The other nice thing about it is that you can attach screws to the bottom or sub-floor around the edges, which is what I needed.
