Such great colors but not very good for primary secondary colors

Underwater green is great when you want a special green, not phalo green. Orange. Purple is perfect although very dark but the water gives you very good range. I love all of these colors, but if you're just starting out and want basic secondary colors, this set isn't for you. However, I would recommend a set of 6 smaller colours: Daniel Smith 285610005 Extra Fine Essentials Introductory Watercolor 6 Tubes 5ml.

Nice set, good price

I wanted to buy basic mixed paints from Daniel Smith's Line and try to save a few bucks. I really like the trio as such, and I don't like the basic primary set much less. These colors reflect more of the work I enjoy doing. I like underwater green, but I usually use purple the most. Selling price plus half their rent) It was the best option for lamps and price to get the main and add-on sets first. The seller I chose had the best price for a set and I bought another set on ebay which was from…

My Favorite Find of the Year

Anyone who knows Daniel Smith knows how phenomenal this brand is. I was so excited to see this aftermarket kit for about $20 over regular, each of these tubes are $10-15 each! quinn The burnt orange is just amazing. Carbazole Violet is good too. The underwater green impressed me the most and since it contains a lot of pigments it gives a nice effect. Part of the ultramarine pigment contained in it separates from the nickel azo and leaves a beautiful grain. These are expensive art quality paints

Fantastic quality and price!

This kit contains Burnt Orange Quinacridone (a deep earthy orange that produces a quinacridone gold tone when mixed with Nickel Azo Yellow and the most beautiful diffused moss greens and cool browns when mixed with blue and ink black), Undersea Green (a multicolored blend of earthy pigments that has the most impressive wash grit) and Carbazole Violet (violet which I think is perfect for blending violet due to its brightness and depth). an awesome set of custom secondary pigments (excluding…
