not waterproof best in paint products

Can also leak very easily. The ink is a nice color but works best with watercolor for washes rather than water resistance. I didn't expect that, but the bank made a lot of noise.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Socket required

Too much for writing with a pen. Maybe the can is bad.

I really wanted to love this mascara. I use it with calligraphy nibs. The jar I received is too watery. The ink barely stays on the pen and gets wet, and then it hits the paper. The color is not hazelnut brown but rather light brown. After drying, it's still sepia in tone, but it's quite light. Maybe I just got a bad glass.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Sad technique

I love this mascara! - Art, painting and craft supplies

I would say the only problem is that the ink is not really waterproof as it is walnut wood ink. So layering is possible, but be careful. This is my new favorite supplement. It has warmth and produces great monotonous images. I also like to use it for watercolors that have a "blot of color". So basically walnut ink with a bit of a different color. If you are looking for an ink with a nostalgic feel, this is a good choice.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor problems

Nice color on art supplies

This doesn't appear to be real hazelnut ink and uses color pigments, but it works similar to ink and should be more nib-friendly. I like its brown tint. I use it with a tip and pointed tips. With my Hunt 101 pen I had to leave the can open for a good 2 days to allow the water to evaporate to get the right consistency. It's available at a lower price at calligraphy supply stores like PaperInkArts and JohnNealBookSeller, but the 1-day shipping on Prime is second to none.

Pros
  • There's something to it

A touch of class with a bit of vintage

Fun ink to play with! This is my first time trying walnut ink. Very light antique look in color and saturation. If I loaded the lines wet enough I could create shadows that are really nice to look at. As I went through the steps I found that with this ink I prefer to use some flexible tips so I can get a good amount on paper. The favorites for this are the shower 361 Blue Pumpkin and the shower EF 66 Arrow. The ink is very thin and light in color. I would have liked a darker tone. May be.

Pros
  • Goodies
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Both my ink for practice and good enough for official work

This was one of the very first inks I bought when I first started learning pen calligraphy. Considering the high quality, perfect viscosity and spreadability, and ease of feathering, this is a fantastic price that makes it my favorite workout mascara. I never have to dilute it; Simply open the container, dip and write. This makes for writing with such great character and I think it adds a fun vintage feel to the finished product. I highly recommend this brand of walnut ink and also recommend it

Finest walnut/iron gall/sepia ink.

Finest walnut/iron/sepia ink. Be sure to shake the bottle to mix the sediment at the bottom of the jar. That is the difference! However, it is a very nice mix with perfect flowability/viscosity. It will not fall, bleed, or disappear. When used with a pen, it creates a nice opaque line that darkens at the edges of each stroke, creating a nice aged look to the writing. The bottle is easy to dip, but closes well and doesn't leak. Good product. Good price. For best results, make sure the bubbles…

Very pretty medium brown ink, bleeds easily from the bottle

I have used this ink on a cheap notepad with very fine grain paper and also on card. In both cases I was able to achieve very thin lines with minimal downward feathering of the strokes. The inkwell is very wide and allows multiple pens to be dipped at the same time. With just one dip I was able to write a few letters or a few short words while getting the effect of an ombre brown tint. On off-white paper the ink appears dark brown, but on white paper the ink is medium sized with dark brown and…
