My 8 year old daughter wears a size 10 as she is muscular so I chose a medium size 8-10. It's cute, but the bodice is like a high waist, so the tutu starts above the navel and ends just enough to cover the butt. It's quite normal and cute for dance practice, but not the right length at all for a dance solo concert :). Still, I find it charming.

Very cute and very soft (very important for a 3 year old). I love empire style swimwear and this one doesn't disappoint. My 3 year old ballerina looks adorable in it. I bought it for 4-6 to give her room to grow. I dried it twice and the straps are as snug as can be and it fits great (but I'll probably stop drying it). For reference, my daughter is about 41 inches tall and weighs 33 pounds.

We got lots of compliments on this swimsuit, love the back and think it's cut so cute. I originally said I think it runs small, but I think it depends more on how snug it fits. If you climb on your side, the straps are too long and don't secure them well. The skirt has a lot more sequins than expected so this time I washed it cold before wearing it (we've bought it twice already).
