Must-have for worry-free charging

After trying this charger protection device, I can confidently say that it's a game changer for automotive charging. The protection feature keeps my devices safe from overcharging or overheating, ensuring that I can charge them without any worries. The compact and portable design makes it easy to carry around wherever I go. The only downside is that the charging time is a bit longer than usual. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable charging connection protection device, this is a great…

Pros
  • Prevents damage to controller and charging port
Cons
  • Requires additional setup and may cause inconvenience during charging

Nothing for a beginner. Not plug and play.

The voltage and current settings need to be changed. Poor instructions, 5 steps required when using a voltmeter with the battery charged and discharged. It took a long time the first, second and third time. I found out that the battery has overcharge protection and the charger can charge it.

Pros
  • High quality switching power supply. Special high-frequency, low-resistance (LOW ESR) electrolytic capacitors are used on the input and output terminals to provide output ripple. With a thick heatsink.
Cons
  • Expensive

Decent low power controller, know your limits

This is a decent low power solar panel controller. It works well enough for 10-30W (upper limit not really sure) but definitely not for 5A. Under such a load the transistor starts to get very hot and catastrophic failure is inevitable. If you plan to use it with 100w solar panel, it won't work. I used it with a 14w solar panel and it worked fine but with 100w I blew the transistor in under 3 hours. The setting is not bad, you can set the LiFePo4 voltage. Unfortunately, it doesn't stand up to…

Pros
  • Output voltage: DC 5-26V stepless output. Output current: maximum charging current 5A.
Cons
  • Low Maintainability
