Good packaging. I've read many complaints about bulbs/terminals falling into holes in village houses and they were right. On a positive note, I figured I could at least get lightbulbs through the 1/2 inch holes of village houses. No way. Luckily I only bought 1 row of 5 bulbs. In order to avoid future complaints, the manufacturer must specify the minimum and maximum hole sizes for this product.

The perfect solution for my needs

This was a turning point in our small town. I used individual lighting for each house and we couldn't run all of these wires under the railroad tracks that ran around the house. There are too many dimensions and we have a very small area and there is no space for a mounted rail. It was the perfect solution, we managed to put the light in 5 houses and only put 1 yard under the path! pretty cheaply made. If they don't work next year I still plan to buy them again as they are very comfortable…

Works great, 17 inches between bases.

Works as advertised, uses night lights. Three bases with 17 inches between bases. Mine came with bulbs built in. The wires are a bit thinner so I wouldn't put more than 5W bulbs in the chain. I've replaced incandescent bulbs with LEDs so I'm not worried. A note for those using them in pottery villages: they have two tabs mounted on them to help hold the base in place in the village.
