broke down best in hammers

Hammer fell apart after 5 minutes of use. Don't waste money. If you want a smooth hitting hammer, just use a regular hammer with a sock or towel.

Good value for money, best in mallets

Got it and worked for what I need it for although it started to chip but I've been pretty tough with it. For the price it has held up well.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

This little hammer suits me perfectly

This little hammer suits me perfectly. I use it as a merchandiser at work. Gives a big hit with no damage. I didn't want to lug a big one around and this little guy gets the job done.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Little things

Not rubber. hard plastic.

This is not a rubber mallet. Or, if it's rubber, it's stood for about 15 years. It's hard plastic that doesn't do anything. The build quality is what you would expect for the low price. It's certainly fine for some crafting, but at first glance it's not even close to what I expected from "rubber".

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Don't know

So far so good - read description

It was a lot smaller than I expected. I think I should have read the description. The hammer head appears to fit over a machined handle. I was a bit skeptical, but so far so good. When the head comes off there seems to be enough room to add wood glue. I used them to attach wheels to a chair for my home office. The hammer is stronger than I expected. I'm excited to see how he handles my next PVC project. I'll update later (when Revain allows it).

Great little hammer, beware of loose head

This tiny little hammer is great for picture framing and applications where you don't want to damage what you're hammering. However, after 10-15 uses I notice that my head is loose. I wasn't happy with that. This hammer is built like an old-fashioned hammer: a wooden handle on a metal head, and the only thing holding it together is a tight wooden seat. Next time I buy one of these it will be a solid banger. I hate saying "next time I'll buy" when it comes to a tool

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
