A very disappointing pair of socks

This pair of damn strong socks doesn't live up to its name. I have another pair, a bit fatter, that have done several 5-7 mile hikes that have given me no problems. No blisters and of course my toe is not pierced! This pair was enough for a 3 mile ride.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Love them and great company

This is one of their lighter, more suitable for summer socks and I love them. I'm about to have nothing but freaking cool 😁🧦 And yes they really stand behind their product, had to get a spare pair for my husband and that guarantee is valid. A lifetime without problems.

  • Delivery was very fast

first wool that didn't scratch me

in my whole life i could never be near wool without it itching. to these socks. I've even trained with them and not a single tingle. I still find it hard to believe. Now I'm a huge fan of this brand and I can't stop telling everyone how awesome they are.

Darn Tough socks are the best

They're not totally useless, but who wouldn't want to show off Darn Tough's creative colors? While not 100% wool, they have the best moisture wicking properties of any socks I've tried. They also don't itch at all, more so than any other wool socks. I've had no trouble shrinking with these or my other Darn Tough styles in either the washer or dryer.

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • Insecure

Hard as hell or bust - Clothing

Seriously, I don't have socks that aren't hard as hell. Mother. Traveller. Veteran. Active. My legs are throbbing and so are my socks. These babies reduce both and live forever, and you can't deny the guarantee. Cool in summer, warm in winter, they don't smell like other socks and they are adorable too. I wear a uniform: This is my little explosion of happiness in my everyday outfit.

  • Easy to use

I'll bequeath these socks to my will

I love these socks! I started swapping out all my cheap socks for Darn Tough socks a few years ago. They are so durable. The first pair I received still seem as thick as new. no holes I like the little tongue on the back to keep the shoes from chafing. I ordered a size up as I was near the cutoff and have a very wide foot. I would say they are very snug so if you are almost out of one size I would go up.

Pros
  • Our Women's Bridge features Art Deco design elements in two vibrant color palettes. Knitted from ultra-soft merino wool, these socks bridge the gap between fit and fashion.
Cons
  • boring packaging

A little disappointed

Bought after seeing the story on the evening news. I wanted to make a Made in America purchase. The colors and the design are great. Very light. Toes don't stretch much. They sit very tight. I used their size chart to determine the size for the order. Both the women's and men's pairs are almost too tight which means they aren't as comfortable as all the cheaper socks I've bought in the past. For the price I expected to be happier than I am.

Pros
  • Style #6002
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great landing! best in Active

These socks are amazing! They stay in place while hiking. They don't rub and when they do rub there are no signs - like blisters or sore heels. I wear socks that can get too tight when putting on my shoes, so I often have to loosen the laces. Or I can feel them shifting as I walk—stitching comes undone, heels slip, material clumps under my toes—but I can't unlace my boots to start over, so I take care of it. Well these socks are here to stay! Put them on, put on my hiking boots and forget them.

Pros
  • Made in the USA. Every pair of socks is knitted in Northfield, Vermont, the perfect proving ground for the finest premium all-weather socks.
Cons
  • Some problems
