DAS Color Modeling Clay 150G (5 Review

I had holes in my metal chair that bees climbed in and also needed repairs on part of my heavy wooden bed frame that my parrot was chewing on and for my needs worked great

Clay hit so hard we couldn't use it. We tried adding water and worked forever hoping it would loosen up. It was like a brick and splintered like pieces in crumbling earth. Terrible.

I have used this clay to make face pencils and I can cover it with water based paint and it doesn't streak or discolour like the Crayola brand clay ( I used terracotta ) I painted the facial features with acrylic paint, and then sprayed the face again with a water-based clear coat. It comes out great.

First off, it's not a "black" color. After drying it turns grey, not even remotely black as you can see in the photo. Second, clay is VERY difficult to work with. It's very difficult, you have to knead a lot and it's not easy because it's like trying to crush a soft stone. My hands hurt when kneading, which was necessary to get a plastic texture.
