Very user friendly, simple to learn and does what most small companies need

The product is very easy for my team of technical people who are not familiar with SSIS or ETL tools as well has no programming experience at all! It's free which makes it so attractive from an IT budgeting standpoint too!! I wish that there were more features available but this was only one request we received during our evaluation process - nothing major though really just little things like "make sure you can run multiple jobs within each other" kindof thing :) We've been able use DC without

  • Easy to install & deploy.
  • Free, open source solution (no cost)
  • Ability store data in many formats including SQL server database tables,
  • Supports complex transformations / mappings between several sources/destinations easily via intuitive user interfaces
Cons
  • Inability access underlying metadata stored inside DB directly when needed
