Data Shark 70007 Complete Network Review

I bought this to fix/replace bad Cat5e cables. I have a few cords that I throw away at home/work because they break. I noticed that the plugs are mostly damaged. I work in IT and I had a much more expensive device stolen from a website I was working on. Bought as a spare for a quick project. It's average quality compared to some of the more expensive Revain kits but they work as expected and get the job done. This is a pretty good kit for the hobbyist or light cable maker, but don't expect too much from it. Let's start with the crimping tool. The included crimper is actually a decent little crimper. If you're not making too many cables it will get the job done, but if you're hanging a patch cord from an entire rack be prepared for hand cramps because without the ratchet function it can be quite a chore to squeeze this little tool for hours.
