🌟 Dayco 89006 Tensioner & Idler Pulley: Efficient Performance for Optimal Belt System Functionality Review

Doesn't look like a factory pulley. However, it works exactly the same. There was a creaking under the hood and this inexpensive replacement part eliminated the creaking. I'm hoping to get half the wear and tear from this as a works part. Factory pulley has 364,300 miles. Impressed by the original and the new.

Runs like a dream now with no hum, I just installed a Continental tensioner with pulley. Holy was brand new and started whining shortly after installing it. That solved that problem, while expensive, it's worth it, you don't hear a whine when you turn on the engine.

89006 is listed at both Dayco and Revain to be correct for a 2004 Chevy SSR 5.3 LS V8 convertible pickup. arrived 89006 has the same outside diameter and correct bearing bore. however, the offset is different. On the Dayco website, pulley 89006 is listed as fitting my 2006 Taurus and is described as being all steel, with no flanges or ribs, with a matching photo and measuring 90mm diameter, 30mm width and 17mm ID.
