Great sound in car stereo

I built some foam speakers for my shop and used their great sound while I was working on an old JVC bookshelf, but they fill my 40x100 shop with sound

Cons

Not "Mega Bass " for coaxial speakers

Cool device, but definitely not a mega bass as the protective name suggests. I bought the product thinking I would get bass but no. It's still a mid-range device.

Pros
  • Hands-free calling
Cons
  • No form required

Poor adhesion, easy to fix.

washers work fine and vibrate quite intensely. But the glue didn't work very well. The surface was cleaned, but after a few minutes the washing machine stopped vibrating. However, a simple superglue gel solved the problem.

Amazingly powerful sound.

I used two of these DAEX32QMB-4 to make stereo speakers for my room. I attached them to two Styrofoam sheets, each 22" x 28". They sound surprisingly good for what they are. When I turn them on, they're loud with no distortion. Not much bass, but that's to be expected from the stuff I've used. If you want more bass, you should attach them to large and thick surfaces.

Great device suitable for cars and car electronics

I've been using it for about 2 months now. I'm still playing with the size and depth of the panel used to play the sound. I have 2 of these on a 1/2" thick pressed foam and a double thick. I love loud music and have to turn it off because it's LOUD! Thanks. Update: I'm still playing with these exciters. and I have two Photos attached to show what I've achieved with this I'm still working on the backs for the left and right channels Thank you very much.

LOL these things are amazing!

I bought these on a whim, hoping I could hook a commercial grade stainless steel "kettle" to small tool springs to end up with an inexpensive ultrasonic parts cleaner. It works a little well with enough power, but what turned out to be really cool was being able to drain the tablet and send music to it! Bass isn't great, but it's there, and everything else related to sound quality is surprisingly good, and volume is amazing. Bought two more to play with, want to try some thin tempered glass and

Great sound but with a design flaw

I like the sound these exciters produce on large surfaces like the birch I use. Although I would say it's one of Dayton Audio's best sound exciters. The design is missing something. The speaker terminals are very fragile, so be careful. When moving the speaker, be sure to carefully disconnect it from the connectors, otherwise there is a risk of the connectors breaking straight out of the exciter, rendering it unusable. Also, soldering on these connectors is not recommended due to the very soft…
