Good things: Receivers and amps

Used to send power from my laptop to some Dayton speakers. A Behringer EQ is also added as the Am only has one knob but plenty of power and great sound quality.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Super happy! about amp

This is a great little compact amp for places where a full size component won't fit. Solid build quality and materials. I recommend doing this with a low impedance speaker setup, e.g. B. 4 ohms to use. It works for me with 8 ohm speakers and it doesn't give me the volume I want, but still no complaints. I now have great sound in the garage for darts and beers or for a YouTube car wash.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Good mini amp, small flaws.

Good sound and build quality. Decent amp. Bluetooth works well and easily connects to the latest device. Bluetooth cannot be used simultaneously with RCA inputs. You must turn off Bluetooth to play through the RCA inputs, then the blue light will keep flashing and the device will remain in pairing mode. Pairing mode cannot be disabled. Whenever I turn it on, my speakers make a popping noise. Luckily it's not too loud, but not particularly pleasant. Good overall but could be better if these…

Pros
  • Keeping my Fists
Cons
  • No paint required

Converted my old Bose 401 tower speakers.

I needed a small amp for a pair of old Bose 401 speakers in my home office as I listen to a lot more music while working from home due to Covid. 401 are 4 ohm floorstanding speakers. This amp reproduced sounds in these speakers that I had never heard from them before. There's a lot more clarity in the highs and mids, but what's really amazing is how a song like Cure's Plainsong now lets the bass boom throughout the house. I was originally obsessed with replacing these speakers with new KEF and…

Potentially great but loud headphone jack noise

This was very interesting to try as it is the only amp with these features and functions in this price range. The first impression was good: well-made to the touch, good weight of the device and a large volume control. Decent ports on the back. At first glance, it sounded fine through my speakers, but I was surprised to hear a painfully loud pop through the headphones when I first plugged them in via the 1/4-inch jack. I'm used to regular gossip and stuff like that, but it was really bad. I…

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Sad packaging
