Did not work optimally in starters and alternators

Poor quality alternator. Never properly loaded out of the box and after 2 weeks in my GMC 1500 I finally threw everything together. Spend the extra money and get a brand name. I've learned my lesson.

Disappointed with customer support

After installation we found that the generator was producing low voltage. We contacted the company directly and explained what we found, we received no reply. More than a month has passed.

This matches the vehicles advertised, runs fine

I have had no problems with this product at all. My truck worked. As soon as I installed the alternator (mind you, you had no trouble installing it) my truck started right away.

Abandoned after the third!

1. Voltage regulator shorted, sent back 2. Mounting holes in wrong place. Exactly due to markings when I installed it. It was never tested after I returned it and sent it as new!

Bearing rupture after 13 months

Original review: This replacement is much louder than the original but it doesn't bother me enough to make me wish I'd spent more on the acdelco. Updated Review: I don't drive this truck more than 100 miles a week and the bearing broke and flew out the back of the unit in less than 13 months of use. Save time and hassle and spend a little more on OE. Three days later, the support team doesn't respond, which seems to match other people's experiences. I strongly recommend staying away from this…
