I used a roller to cover both the melmer and vertical file and got great results. I would suggest that if using on the front of a drawer you tape the edges with thin tape e.g. B. packing tape, secure. This eliminates friction when opening and closing the drawers so the edges don't pull up. I also used this method to secure the edges within the vertical file to keep items from snagging on the slide when removed from the file. Used to repair two TV trays that were chipped. You can see in the before and after photo how much of the underlying damage still shows through in good light, as well as a few air bubbles that I missed when applying.
