I love my car and I didn't want to drill the bumper for my state-mandated front fairing unless it was necessary. Thought I'd try mounting and drilling first if that doesn't work. I was very pleased with the mount's stability, adjustability and low cost. Excellent purchase. It's as easy to install as it CAN be (beast's nature), but the instructions could be a bit clearer (talk to me like I'm 4 years old). However, you will be satisfied with the results.

This article is not universal. Not suitable for Lexus RC 200t/350. The longest pole is too short for 3 spacers and 2 spacers are not enough. I'm not sure how it even fits in the towing eye. I followed the paper directions and the bar kept spinning in the tow hook slot. I tighten the rod like in the video but it just rotates in place. I don't even understand how the tow hook is supposed to tighten and rotate as there is no rig, it's just a piece of plastic.

Beautifully designed. Very well done when used for its intended purpose. But instead I'm testing its limits, redesigning the thing and using it as a stabilizing mount for my collapsible spare tire carrier. It has a bit more flexibility than I was hoping for for a $45 item. It actually looks pretty cool and can be used to attach other items like a gas canister, ax or something else. Was almost too perfect to come up with different sizes of stems and spacers. In general I am satisfied.

I only give it 3 stars because it looks good once installed but unless my friend bought the exact same kit it wouldn't fit my car. There were only 3 different sizes of spacers and my hitch was so long that no three spacer configuration would fit. I was lucky my friend didn't use all of his spacers so I was able to use his extras. Company Tip: Offer more spacer size options and this could very well be a one size kit. Standard nuts should be replaced with lock nuts. Stainless steel hardware wouldn't hurt either. The mid shaft was too long so I had to cut it down. Installed on a 2006 Mercedes S-65 AMG with parking sensors. I had to install with the shaft in the top right holes and bend the ends of the top number plate down around the mounting plate so I didn't get a constant warning beep.
