It's a chain! fits parts and components

Used for a cheap 1x7 rebuild on a Trek 3700. Handles abuse well beyond what the Trek 3700 was designed for. In the near future I will connect this to the chain guide. So far I've had two drop chains, but that's because I don't have a conductor and RD isn't meant to be used in a 1x setup. I love the bling factor which clearly adds power when climbing :)

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Fantastic for those of us who ride uphill.

I bought the 38t because I prefer long car rides. I'll tell you the transition from the round to the oval ring. You can say it's easier to pedal. You get more power when you need it and less power when you don't. However, if you don't ride hills or inclines, it won't be as useful to you. On regular flat roads, this is bizarre at best. You'll look around, but unless you're trying to climb a big hill the right way, or climb a really big slope to get somewhere, it's not that useful.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

Must buy and worth for 1X conversions

Excellent value for money, well worth it. Very nicely finished and has no problems with the figure. The idea of an oval round shape is not new (Shimano was one of the first to use it over 20 years ago but called it Bio Pace and it was present on all three chainrings). Like 1X it's great and you really feel the increase in power as the oval side wraps around the top as you lower the crank. The cost is the biggest advantage as others are two to three times more expensive. Installed on a Marlin 5…

Good chainring for cycling

I bought this chainring for a winter commuter bike. I usually use Raceface n/w chainrings, but I couldn't justify spending $45-$50 on a winter passenger. I thought about trying this brand but I doubted the quality. I am satisfied with this product and it works well. The fit does not come close to the more expensive Raceface chainrings. I see reviews complaining about the chain not fitting properly - I had the same issue. However, ten minutes with a Dremel tool fixed it. I've used this on many…
