Greatly simplifies the installation of Ipe

This allows you to install ipe on the patio with minimal effort. This is often necessary even on relatively straight boards. I'm glad I got it. A pro definitely needs a few of these.

Pros
  • . Impressive
Cons
  • Working speed

Great tool, best wrench

This is a great tool for straightening decking. It can be a bit pricey, but it's really worth the money, especially if you do the work yourself. This greatly simplified the installation of the deck. I'm very glad I spent the extra money.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Expensive but well made

The wrench worked well to install the Brazilian Garapa hardwood decking on our balcony. However, since we had pre-painted the joists that the deck boards were attached to, I had to wrap rubber around the teeth of the wrench to prevent chewing on the joist's wood.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So far so good

The device saves time! for hand tools

Just finished Ipe deck I have two bow keys and once this deck key was in place we didn't touch any of those bow keys for the rest of our project. This device has paid for itself in savings. work in just one day. The quick adjustment to grab double fold bars and lock them hands free is fantastic.

Worth Every Penny: Torque Wrench

For a professional decking and fencing installer, this is a must have. This makes the job doable for one person, you can clamp it in place as you set the clamps in place, eliminating the need for another hand. Totally worth the money, I should have bought it sooner! I kept it in a shopping cart for a year! If you are a deck builder, you should buy this.

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Seller Communication

Fantastic, and in my opinion a must-have tool for all deck builders!

Wow, that thing is expensive! But once you get over that, you understand why. It is superbly constructed and of the highest quality you could ask for. I saw it before I started building the Timbertech deck and walked past it. Then when I started installing it, I bought it straight away and don't understand how to build a deck without it! Completely saved me, and yes, Timbertek is very difficult to install, but it makes it so much easier.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Professional tool that is worth the high price

Looks overpriced at first glance, I thought so too! This is a professional tool, very well made and durable. There was no way to install Trex boards without them. I'm a professional contractor and used a Stanley decking board and board bender tools. Their problem is that they don't stay in place. So if you have a helper they work fine, it stays in place. The screws loosen during use. So when you buy one, constantly check that they are tightened during use. For this reason the rating is 4 and…

Pros
  • Solid workmanship
Cons
  • Hard to say

Expensive. Has problems in use.

Works well with just one touch. Although the grip is reversible, the rest of the device is asymmetrical and only works well in one grip configuration (pull rather than push). The tool should not be used close to where you live (i.e. within 18 to 24 inches) as the handle cannot be extended far enough in the optimal position to bend the board. The key is very well made and very durable. The wrench has a pronounced tendency to move out of the horizontal plane when the handle is pulled toward you…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some flaws
