🎨 8-Ounce Deco Art Americana Chalky Finish Paint in Timeless Shade Review

We bought this to repaint an old computer case that we didn't want to sand. Even without sanding and priming, the finish was great and the end product looks amazing. We applied two coats and you don't even realize it was black before.

I painted with almost all Americana Deco Art colors. I love the brand, but THIS color! This color is great! I've had many customers asking for it. I have attached before and after the project.

It has not yet been decided whether this is in any way comparable to AS-Lacquer. But for smaller jobs I'm sure it will probably work just fine. I only painted a small piece of plastic and I don't think I got it incredibly clean because it wanted to peel off a bit.

I was very disappointed with my order. I ordered 2 cans so I can finish the project. Both banks were previously opened. The paint was very thick from being exposed to air for too long. I tried using them by diluting them with water but the consistency just wasn't there. I ended up having to order 2 new cans from another source.

I bought paint from different brands. Some are brand names and others are from small family and pop businesses from the famous handcrafted website we know as E***. I have to say, despite all the trial and error, I am 98% happy to buy this brand. The other 2% I think is from sellers who may have kept this product a little longer and the color started to degrade. This particular paint can was in good condition!
