I ordered this product because it says 72-144 inches which means it will fit within the stated size range. Not regulated. You can either pick up half of the bar where you can't attach both end caps, or tuck everything in, which is a full 144 inches. I needed a pole that is about 80 inches too much. I love the curtain rod - it's my style and it's very modern. I had a lot of problems installing it - I couldn't get the drill parallel to the wall because the angle the rod sits at was below the hole being drilled - this made it difficult to really push the drill through and I ended up using a screwdriver to fully install the screw.
