🧰 Dee Zee M207 ATV Specialty Box Review

I put this on the front of my utility trailer to give a little extra room for things I need quick access to. The device looks beautiful, it's lightweight but feels like a heavy-duty steal. I have no intention of putting anything of value in it or leaving it where it might tempt vandals or I'd end up with a sturdy block of steel instead. I think that's great for my needs.

I bought this to use as a tongue box for my 28ft vintage racing trailer and it works really well. Holds my balancers and chocks and other items I keep in a small basket in the box. I went through hundreds of boxes looking for one that could have had a top box for pens, wrenches and grease but nothing was available. This box holds the large items I need and is lockable.

Need a battery storage box for our camper van. The dimensions of this box fit perfectly between the propane tanks and the camper. It can store 4 6V golf cart batteries perfectly. The box looks like it was made for a motorhome and fits perfectly with it. Based on previous reviews of the decal leaking, we used some putty and then reinstalled the front to prevent leaks. The box looks beautiful from about 5 feet away. It does its job well, but there were factory pre-drilled holes that needed filling and the logo was held in place by plastic pins that wouldn't close. All this can be fixed with silicone. The only major issue I have is when the lid is fully closed, snow is still getting underneath and the metal warps around each weld. It will be interesting to see how the finish holds up.

I received my tool box yesterday 01/18/2019. The first impression of the box is not very good. The massive DeeZee emblem on the front is attached with a kind of rivets. Not sure if holes had to be made in the front of the toolbox. There are also two additional holes on the bottom of the box used for mounting points. I probably won't use these holes. They need to be filled/sealed to remain waterproof. Once it's installed and running for a few months I'll update my review.

I bought 3 of these to install on my flatbed truck. It looks like DeeZee tried to use a local high school class to build their toolboxes. All three boxes had several rivet holes drilled incorrectly for the lid hinge. One of the lids was powder coated after hinge riveting, the other two hinges were riveted after coating. One of the boxes was 1/4 inch larger than the other two. The "DeeZee" emblem on the side of the box is huge, garish, and definitely NOT the same as the one pictured on Revain…
